Like it? Got married there. So please keep it as safe and sacred as it should be. Much love to everyone I will get on such a lovely pathway. To unquote a famous man's words... I shall pass this way again... And it made ALL the difference in this man's life.

Beautiful place to walk around with your family and pet friendly with a little dog park

Walk around the sand mine! Sadly gouging out the Earth, but maybe nature preserved nearby. And US Silica gave us this gorgeous bridge.

What a beautiful park, filled with great picture opportunities! There are a lot of flowers of different types spread throughout. The bridge is great. The river is gorgeous. There's a very nice trail for hiking and biking. The park has a shelter and a plaground, an archery area, and a bike station for pumping up your tires. A couple Pokestops and a gym here.

I used to love hiking here. Now, the sand mine has expanded along the chainlink fence that borders the hiking trail, and a large chunk of the forest has been razed. Particulates and the smell of fuel make the air difficult to breathe when the wind picks up. If you are looking for a nature hike, this is not it. This is a hike around a sand mine. Ironically, the formerly gravel hiking trail has now been paved, so it’s more accessible than ever. But hey, at least there’s a footbridge and random patches of tulips planted. Just don’t look up.
