What's not to love!? You've got an epic course in the foothills of the Shenandoah, beer, wine, and the kindest most generous proprietors one could ask for! Free to play, pay to drink! Great place for adults, kids, families, pets, pets' kids... Challenging at times but fair. Beware the March winds!

This is a top tier course and we have been everywhere in the US. I rate it above Maple Hill, Beaver Ranch and some of the others people rave about. It’s beautiful, well maintained, nicely designed and laid out. Thank you so much!! We have traveled through here just to play this course and we love it!!

Before playing, ask yourself: “How much do I love poison ivy?”. The grass/poison ivy on the front nine “fairways” was about a foot high which made for a pretty uncomfortable game. If this is how they maintain (or don’t) the course regularly then you have to wear long pants. I had several ticks on me by hole three and hadn’t even played the rough yet. Also, I would recommend you play w a map or not at all. First time, by myself, I got lost several times. Other than the above the setting is stunning and the course is very well laid out; if in dire need of some mowing.

It is a very nice course, very well taken care of. And very challenging. Definitely worth a day trip there. It is on the property of a brewery and whinery with beautiful scenery with chairs and hammocks to lounge in.

This is my new fav 9 hole coarse. I heard a rumor they are adding a back nine in the future and if so I very much look forward to it!
