Players frequently commend the course for its engaging layout and variety of features that cater to both beginners and experienced disc golfers, enhancing player enjoyment and offering a good mix of challenges. We started at the side park area that has a bunch of path that go up and down and then we cross the road into the main park area where it has an exercise gym area type thing along with a soccer field and a playground. Then we've seen what I would assume would be an amphitheater type area which are kind of neat had some cool concrete pillars. You could probably fit a good $150 200 people there if you were to have some kind of meeting or thing or something. You could fit on the step of it. There's a number of benches and stuff all over the place. And the picnic areas are pretty cool too.

We visited Knoxville from Charlotte, and this playground was such a welcome exercise break from the car! It's a gorgeous playground surrounded by a huge park with a Frisbee golf course and another playground at the top of the hill. The park is inside a neighborhood, the entrance to this playground is just a small path that we missed the first time we drove by. There isn't a ton of parking near the playground but luckily we went at 0900 on a Saturday morning and no one was there.

There are TWO playgrounds in “morningside park” - the one in the picture I uploaded is the original playground, NOT the new blue one. The new blue one is Bluecross Healthy Place @ Morningside Park at 1898 Hazen Street. The playground shown in my picture is 1600 Dandridge Avenue. I didn’t feel super safe at either but especially not at the original Morningside park. I went at 9 am and there were 3 cars that pulled up with their cars running with no one getting out. I was alone with my kid and walked all the way up to the street just to wave down a parks and rec truck to walk with me to my car. He said “they’re probably just drug dealing, they won’t bother you” super comforting! Never going back.

Awesome park! Just opened 12/14/2023! It’s an awesome place to relax and let your kids free! Wanna get some exercise? Have some outdoor exercise equipment, 40yrd dash, and paved walkways!
