I came here as a guest to a wedding recently. It was a bit of a winding drive and might take you some time of you are coming from Portland. The wedding was partially outdoor and partially in a covered pavilion. The grounds were beautiful cared for and a few roses were still in bloom (mid September) adding natural decoration to the event. The bathrooms are in the building that is for club members, so depending on the length of the event, you may be going back and forth quite a bit. One of our party was in a wheelchair and I did note it was extra tricky for her. If you use a walker or wheels, I saw more stairs than ramps. Another note about the bathrooms as pertains to ladies: the main floor bathroom is pretty tight space with only four stalls. Would be difficult if you had a wheelchair and just gets crowded with such a large event. The event was catered and the wedding coordinator and staff were really attentive and organized. The event itself ran very smoothly and I was impressed at how nice the whole event was. Not sure if they are a package deal with the club, but I would assume so. The food was nice, nothing spectacular... But nice and presented well. Food came out as individual plates in courses. The servers worked so hard and were so professional. There was ample parking that was set aside for the special event. It was nice how the club was very separate from the wedding and only accessing the bathroom overlapped into the club itself. I think the event was about 200 people, and that seemed a good size for the space.

While in the Portland area this weekend I played two courses. This Oregon Golf Club was outstanding. The views were incredible of Mt Hood and the Willamette River. Now the course was as good as the views. The greens were in perfect shape. They were rolling fast and true. Bunkers had lots of sand and well maintained. The fairways were perfect. The course is a challenge as well. The front 9 you will have very few flat lies. The back 9 weaves through the NW trees. If you get this opportunity to play, take it!! I’ll be back.

My husband and I could not be more happy that we chose The Oregon Golf Club (OGC) as our wedding venue. After we had visited what felt like every venue in and around Portland, we came to do a walkthrough at the OGC. Once we drove into the long drive and saw the view of Mount Hood, we knew this was our wedding destination. The rose garden is the perfect place for a ceremony and the white tent is picturesque and gives ample room for a reception. Not only did the OGC look beautiful in every way, but the staff at the venue were incredible. My husband and I worked with Nicole and she went above and beyond to make our experience as memorable as possible. She answered every one of my questions promptly and walked us through each step in the planning process. During our wedding day, Nicole and the OGC staff made us feel so special by catering to all of our needs throughout the day and continually checking on all of our guests. Throughout the night, our guests came up and told us two things: 1) this was the prettiest wedding venue they had been to and 2) the food was incredible. Needless to say, we had a perfect wedding day and are internally grateful to Nicole and the rest of the staff at the OGC for giving us a day we will never forget!

I had the privilege of second shooting a wedding here this summer, and I feel in love with this venue. It's perfect for any couple that wants an elegant, timeless and modern venue.

My partner and I were so happy that we were able to work with the Oregon Golf Club to host our wedding celebration! While we chose OGC initially due to sentimental reasons, we would absolutely recommend working with their team, and especially Nicole Ball, for any event. The service and venue truly exceeded our expectations! Planning process: OGC made it super easy to plan our event with detailed planning and information packages that really streamlined the naturally stressful process. Throughout our planning time, Nicole was also open to answering questions and helped us feel supported along the way. She also demonstrated a lot of flexibility; even with needing to postpone our event due to covid, she was happy to work with us to figure out new plans. In addition, we may not have been the typical couple that works with OGC -- with wanting to DIY/customize a lot of details -- Nicole was kind enough to give helpful direction to ensure we made informed decisions. Our plans ended up working out the way we envisioned them! Food & Drinks: Due to planning a wedding from out-of-state, we were unable to attend the complimentary tasting event that OGC holds for their couples, which may have slightly affected our experience with food served as we had to choose blindly. Still, the menu choices were varied and thoughtful, and the kitchen was accommodating to dietary needs. Variety was also not an issue with beverages offered, and half way through the night, many guests were already letting us know that OGC's signature cocktails were serious business. Customization: I would say one of the highlights of OGC is how easy it was to customize our event! In looking through photographs from previous events, we immediately noticed really different designs within the exact same venue space and were excited execute our own vision as well. Having so many locations to potentially utilize (on-site getting ready suites, clubhouse meeting rooms, indoor main dining room, the vineyard lawn, rose garden, and rose pavilion), we were able to design our event to match our needs exactly. Rain plans were also super straight forward to create given the many options. Service: The event team did a great job on the day-of! We could tell they were experienced and attentive and everything ran smoothly. The bartender was great with our guests and all the wait staff were polite and professional. Venue: Lastly, the venue is simply beautiful! There was a good mix of modern and rustic views all around, and we were lucky enough with the weather to have unobstructed views of mt hood. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience at the OGC. Super thankful to Nicole and the whole OGC event team for all their efforts in making our special event run so smoothly! They gave us the freedom to focus on our union and our loved ones, which was what we found most meaningful.
