Awsome discgolf course! A lot of elevation and a lot of fun shots to shape. Well taken care of Park. You won't be disappointed

Best DG course in CLT. My humble opinion.

Pretty hard course (I am not any good at disc golf). Very well maintained. There were lots of players playing, speaking to the quality of the course. I lost a disc in the lake on 1 hole and decided to skip the other water focused hole (I think it was holes 8 & 9).

The Scrapyard at Idlewild Rd Park is a beautiful, fun, well-maintained disc golf course! It's a little challenging since it's pretty much all in the woods, but the lines are not too narrow. Novices can make their way through and enjoy the course, but it will be more fun for experienced players who have good control and enough power for 250-325 foot drives. Hole 8 requires you to throw across water--you will need about 180 feet to clear it. For a real challenge here, play the long layout! They are constantly making little improvements to the layout, fixing erosion and drainage issues, clearing undergrowth and poison ivy, etc. It's probably the best course in Charlotte to play after rain. Kudos to the folks doing the work out there!

Man, I don’t know who designed this disc golf course but what a stinker! Stay away from this one, there are much better disc golf courses in Charlotte!!!
