Deer Lake has a well maintained, natural environment. It is perfect for families and has a pleasant, friendly staff. We have been members over 25 years. Our children grew up in this New Jersey gem. Lots to do. The kids were never board.

I've been a member Of Deer Lake Club for more than 15 years. It is a great family place where my 3 children grew up and enjoy the privacy in this special place that is surrounded by Morris County preservation lands. There is so much that the lake has to offer year round... swimming, sailing/boating, great fishing, camping, hiking, bbq, platform tennis, disc golf, baseball field, basketball, bocce ball, volleyball, horseshoe, ice skating, and much more. Many friends have been made over the years and highly recommend Deer Lake Club.

We wandered into their parking lot while hiking, we followed a white trail marker and steared clear of the area that had 1 posted sign. We simply asked if their was another trail head we could follow out and were told "this is private property go back where you came from" from one of the members. I can't speak for the facilities but if this is how memebrs behave it's not a place I would ever want to be . On the flip side me 9 and 11 year old learned a leasson on how not to speak to people.

I have been a member of Deer Lake for seven years, but have been spending my summers there for my entire life. If you want to be transported back to the summers of your youth, Deer Lake is the place to do it. Immaculately maintained by caring staff, Deer Lake is idyllic and charming. Besides swimming there are numerous activities such as camping, boating, hiking, picnicking, volleyball, bocce, disc golf, tetherball....and the list goes on and on. I could not provide a higher recommendation.

Private Lake, kept beautiful, no powered boats you got to row, no dogs, no houses on the Lake. They have a GREAT staff of young people. A really nice place to go and kick back and relax 😎
