This is such a serene, quiet place to walk, sit and just be. I've taken my dogs here before also. Visited Memorial Day weekend and there were quite a few fisherman, lots of people with their dogs and people playing disc golf. My mom and I were just here to walk and picnic. The cicadas were unusually loud today and we enjoyed listening to them. It's a real phenomenon and if you haven't experienced them yet, this was a good place to see and hear them! Beautiful lake, beautiful day!

Nice, large park with a few miles of paved trails for walking and running (suitable for bikes, as well). The kids enjoyed the storybook walk that is set up by the county library. Plenty of space to fish (catch and release only) around the perimeter of the main lake and several smaller ones. Kayaks available to rent. There's a disc golf course that meanders through parts of the golf course that formerly occupied the property, too. A few downsides for our family (including 2 kids): No playground, at least as of June '22, but it sounds like there's plans to add one in the near future Similarly, no boat ramp so that you can easily launch your own canoe or kayak from near your vehicle. Again, appears to get plans to add one in the near future. LOTS of poison ivy. Some of the disc golf course cuts through the woods, so it's probably an issue there, as well. But there were several places we noticed large patches of that delightful plant near the trail or near the lake where you'd otherwise like to set up to do some fishing.

This is one of my favorite parks in St. Charles County. As the name implies, there are several lakes. Nice paved trails and many scenic views to enjoy. Peaceful, with no sounds of traffic or other distractions. Scenic in all seasons.

Beautiful park with large lakes, several paved walking trails through open fields and wooded areas. They have an amazing frisbee disc golf course, new/modern bathrooms and a lodge that overlooks the larger lake. Picnic tables are strategically placed around the park with tons of opportunity to see wildlife. This is a great place for walking, bike riding, fishing and site-seeing. Plenty of parking and there is even a kids story on the trails.

A large park with a few short paved trails intersecting. For the most part the trails have views of the water which is nice. A great place to visit.
