Nice little park. Note it is just a little historically significant area. No walking track or playground or anything like that. There is a nice brick structure surrounding an original spring. A pipe has been ran into it and now pours into a decorative type deal. Very marshy around the edges of it and it's a narrow drive into it. There isn't much to see outside of the spring itself. There's a little housing development on the south side which contrasts horribly to the history of the area and some marshy woods to the north which is fine. Overall it's worth a visit to read the plaques and think of the hundreds of years people have stopped for a drink at this spot!

Beautiful little park but be sure to enter from the corner of Capitol Street and Belmont. Google maps will take you the wrong way.

Neat little place for a photo shoot or just enjoying visiting the spring. There is a brick railing where you can sit for a picnic and a trash can is available.

A nice little park behind the mill in old town Clinton. There is not much, but the plaques are an interesting read. The water from the spring is great for a cool splash in the face on a warm day. The park is well designed, and nice for a quick visit when out for a walk.

Why does it exist? I don't know but that's why I love it. It has some historical significance but it is in the back of town away from everyone. The town just dumped a bunch of money for a neat little park that no one knows about. Behind the nature center, it's my favorite thing.
