Winter or summer, this is a great place for a hike / run / fishing trip. Obviously it’s much prettier during the summer and fall months but when it’s cold out you really earn that warmth 🌡️ Take friends, girlfriends, and family here❗️ One of the greatest state parks Delaware has to offer by FAR 🌳

Even the parking lot is pretty! You do have to pay a fee if you're out of state (it's the honor system but I think you could be towed/fined if you don't), so bring some cash and remember to place the ticket on your car's dash. There are bathrooms at the entrance and some benches here and there. The short trail wasn't challenging and it was GORGEOUS. We walked about 45 minutes and didn't see anyone else. It was a gorgeous day and I feel so fortunate that we had the place to ourselves! Lots of cool plants and some fenced-off areas in the forest for purposeful native planting. Lovely experience overall.

Good hike, got lost so ended up taking another trail but great quiet trail during morning hours.

Wonderful place for hiking. Very peaceful and close to nature. You can spend any amount of time hiking here, I don’t think we will ever get tired of this beautiful nature, also the trails are marked properly. Plenty of parking lots in various locations. However parking is very limited in the (east) side of the park, also there is no public restrooms. One portable toilet is placed near the parking space which is too dirty to use.

Beautiful State Park along the Delaware & Pennsylvania border! Great trails for hiking, biking, running, and walking the dog. I found park maps at Parking Lot #2 on the PA side, and the park office in PA. Most of the trail is shaded and leveled. Entrance fee is $4 for Delaware residents, $8 for non-residents. Cell service is scarce.
